The history of BSP Zapin is inseparable from the history of the establishment of BSP which was formed on October 17, 2001 to be prepared to manage the CPP WK from PT Caltex Pacific Indonesia whose contract expired on August 8, 2002.

BSP together with PT Pertamina is authorized by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia to manage the CPP WK covering an area of 9,135.06 km in Riau Province spread across various regencies and cities, thus becoming an important milestone in the management of oil and gas operating areas in the area.

Establishment of BSP Zapin
BSP Zapin was established based on Notarial Deed Tito Utoyo, SH. No. 18 dated November 8, 2013 and ratified by the Decree of the Minister of Law and Human Rights No. AHU-68444.AH.01.01. Year 2013, with a shareholder composition of 99.46% BSP and 0.54% SPE.
